One day in New York City šŸ—½

We begin our day with a delicious brunch in the heart of New York. Enjoy delicious eggs or some blueberry pancakes with stunning views at @upstairsnyc šŸ„° The food is amazing, they have a large variety of cocktails and breathtaking views over NYC.

Make reservations simply online on their website (soon available in our LindyGo app!)

After our amazing brunch at Upstairs NYC, we head on over to the Rockefeller Center to get even better views of NYC. Simply walk up to the Rockefeller Center for around 10 minutes.

Tickets for adults (General Admission) cost $40.

Children aged 6-12 pay $34

Children under the age of 5 can go up for free.

There are also options that include a free pass, if you are in a hurry ā€” this costs a little more though. Around the area you also find the NBC Studios, Radio City Music Hall with its souvenir shops. Buy tickets directly on their website (or soon through LindyGo)

Following our visit at the Rockefeller Center (where you possibly also went up to the Top of the Rock), we are taking a 12 minute walk to Central Park! A visit to New York must include Central Park, donā€™t you think? Central Park is HUGE so it would be best to check beforehand (Lindygo ā†’ Search: Central Park). If you choose to go to another corner of Central Park, it would be advised to take a cab to save time! After all, we only have one day in the city.

To visit another monument of New York City, weā€™ll hop on the subway. Letā€™s take line A from 59 St-Columbus Circle to High St.

After a 10 minute walk, we arrive at the famous NYC Insta spot, giving us the perfect view of Brooklyn Bridge. Be sure to snap a few pictures to upload to Lindygo later! But now, letā€™s walk up to the Brooklyn Bridge to get that stunning view from this side.

Is it safe to walk solo over there? Absolutely yes! Brooklyn has become throughout the years one of the best urban spots to visit while in New York.

For our afternoon snack, weā€™ll go to a little pricier location. This will guarantee mesmerizing views. The River CafĆ© is located right at the river, hence the name, and offers good food and better views. Reserve a table directly on their website, or soon in the app. (You can always find more affordable options. How about a delicious slice of pizza from Julianaā€™s?)

After enjoying the sightseeing at the Brooklyn Bridge and taking more photos, We stayed in Brooklyn to enjoy our day with a fresh cocktail or a glass of wine on Westlightā€™s rooftop bar.

111 N 12th St, Brooklyn, NY 11249

After this cool-down drink in Brooklyn, we take the subway back to Manhattan. Letā€™s walk to the Bedford Av station and drive around 7 minutes until 14 St Union Sq. Weā€™ll now have some time to soak up New Yorkā€™s beauty - roam around Manhattan, walk up to the Flatiron Building and take some more memorable pictures along the way.

Choose something American from the menu at tonightā€™s dinner location. How about a juicy burger or some yummy Macā€™nā€™Cheese? Youā€™ll find this and more at @thesmithrestaurant only a 5 minute walk from the Flatiron Building. Again, reservations either online or in the LindyGo app.

For our last drink of the night we chose a cozy rooftop bar, that is also located 5 minutes from The Smith restaurant. At @somewherenowherenyc you get delicious drinks with (again) stunning views. There are a couple other bars around if you havenā€™t had enough, but we surely hope you enjoyed your day in New York City. Of course, you can always adjust this to things you want to see (Times Square, MOMA, the Charging Bull) but you can only fit so much in one day.
